Thanks to everyone for supporting the Book Fair, especially to the Volunteers. I couldn't have made it without you.
We have read some great books and learned library skills this month. Bob the Library Puppet has also visited each class. Kindergarten has learned about Authors, Illustrators, and Genres -- different kinds of books. Time is flying in the Library. We have some very exciting things happening this month.
Kindergarten has been learning and practicing our Library procedures and book care. First and Second grades have been reviewing Library procedures and book care and reviewing the parts of the Library.
My favorite part of September is THE BOOK FAIR. The Book Fair is coming to the Library from Friday, Sept. 25 until Thursday, Oct. 1. The Book Fair is a great opportunity to purchase books, educational materials, junky stuff like cool pens and erasers, and toys. We will be having some exciting drawings for free books and posters, too. Everyone (Parents, too) can enter the drawings. The Book Fair is open before and after school and during Parent Teacher Conferences. Come by and see all the cool stuff.

Library News August 24

Our first week in Library is going well.
