Flying Through October!

October is almost over and I feel like we're just getting started. There were so many things happening in October. The Book Fair ended on October 1st. We increased our sales from last year and earned over $1200 for the Library. Thanks to everyone for supporting the Book Fair, especially to the Volunteers. I couldn't have made it without you.
We have read some great books and learned library skills this month. Bob the Library Puppet has also visited each class. Kindergarten has learned about Authors, Illustrators, and Genres -- different kinds of books. First Grade has learned about the Title Page, Table of Contents and Dedication Page. Second Grade has learned about the Index, Glossary and Author Information Page.
